The Oak Ridge High School JV girls volleyball squad enjoyed a winning streak, taking trophies at the Christine Craft Memorial Tournament and the Davis Fall Classic.

At the Sept. 9 Craft event the Lady Trojans went through a competitive line up of six of the top local schools to win the tournament and take the trophy back to El Dorado Hills. In the final bracket the players beat Folsom in three sets (25-23, 23-25, 15-13); Granite Bay in three sets (25-19, 22-25, 15-11; and St. Francis in two sets (25-19, 25-19).

The following Saturday the team played a tough field, beating five other high school squads to make it to the final match and play St. Mary’s for the championship. Oak Ridge beat St. Mary’s in two sets (25-19, 25-18).
