JV volleyballers win tourney

The  Oak Ridge junior varsity boys volleyball took first place in the March 9 tournament at Placer High School in Auburn.

The Trojans started their day with two wins against Rio Linda High School and Chico High School. They went on to play the Rocklin High School and Bear River High School , winning both of those games and putting them in the championship game against Placer High School.

The Trojans played very hard, winning the firts match, losing the next and bringing momentum back in the third. With coach Melanie DeMure cheering on the sidelines, the team won 9-15.
