Storm moves on

By July 19, 2013

This week both Storm 10U and 12U All-Star teams travel to their respective Super Regional tournaments and take one more step to their goal to “win the last game.”

The 10s continued a torrid pace through their Regional tournament in Rocklin winning four more straight, all by the 10-run mercy rule. Through the first two rounds the Storm 10s have outscored the competition a total of 152-12 in eight games. The team is headed for a collision course with a few teams from the Central Valley area who are equally talented. The winner of the 10U Super Regional punches their ticket to Los Alamitos near the end of July.

The Storm 12s made it to the Regional final game, but fell short to a strong Vacaville team. The team also advances to the Super Regional tournament which begins this week in Pacific Grove. The players will also have their work cut out for them taking on teams from all over Northern California.

Good luck to both teams as they prepare for another strong week of all-star baseball.
